The salary range is from $87,461 to $131,192 and does commensurate with experience. The Credit Union promotes from within, and encourages opportunities for growth and advancement. This position is located at 10025 Park Meadows Drive, Lone Tree, CO 80124. This is a full-time, in-office, position. Working hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Summary:
The Director of Human Resources and Administration is responsible for overseeing the processes, procedures and policies in the Credit Union’s Administration and Human Resources and Administration Department.  Ensure the Credit Union is operating within all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.  Provides visible leadership and direction to the Credit Union’s staff and members.  

This position is responsible for the daily operations of human resources, administration, facilities management, and training/education.  As the leader of the department, the Director of HR and Administration must balance the interests of employees and the Credit Union using thorough knowledge and management of all functions within the department.  The position requires good supervisory and organizational skills, the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment while managing strict deadlines, and the willingness to be an integral part of a management team. 

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all human resources-related functions for employees, ensuring compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations.
  • Duties include maintaining employee information on Compease and Paycom, administering payroll through Paycom, administration of employee benefits including health insurance and 401K, maintain proper employee files and documentation, job postings/onboarding, and any specific tasks as assigned by the CEO.
  • Oversee facilities management for three branch locations including vendor management and selection.
  • Oversee training and education programs to maximize continued education for all employees and volunteers.
  • Responsible for hiring, on-boarding, and employee performance documentation to ensure consistency as well as smooth onboarding and talent acquisition.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed for executive management and volunteers.
  • Completes minutes for Board meetings and other meetings, as required.
  • Assists with preparation for Board meetings, prepares member reports, obtains Board signatures on necessary documents, arranges for food and refreshments.
  • Plan and organize company events, team-building activities, and executive gatherings.  Coordinate with vendors, venues, and caterers to ensure event success.  Manage event budgets and logistics from inception to completion.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.  Act as a trusted advisor, keeping executives informed while protecting confidential communications.
  • Perform other related duties, including special projects as required or requested.

  • Ensure all administrative assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

  • Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing HR practices and policies as well as direct supervision of direct reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, as well as strong leadership skills.
  • Superior attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to solve problems and think strategically.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all human resources activities.

Education Requirements:
SHRM Human Resources Professional Certification
Associate’s Degree in business administration or human resource management
